Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Trustora, a Shopify app operated by Sun Skill Tech (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Trustora you agree to them on behalf of your store (“you”). If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

1. The service

Trustora lets Shopify merchants collect and display product reviews, send review request emails, and show Instagram and TikTok feeds on their storefront. Features available to you depend on your plan.

2. Eligibility and your account

You need an active Shopify store, and you must be authorised to act for that store. You are responsible for activity under your store’s installation of the app and for complying with Shopify’s terms.

3. Plans, trials and billing

• Trustora offers a free plan and paid plans, as described in the app.
• Paid plans include a 7-day free trial.
• Charges are billed by Shopify every 30 days through your Shopify invoice, in the currency Shopify uses for app charges. Taxes may apply.
• You can change plans or cancel at any time in the app or by uninstalling it. Cancelling stops future charges. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law or Shopify’s policies.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. New prices need your approval through Shopify.

4. Your content and responsibilities

• You keep ownership of your content, including reviews collected on your store and your social posts. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only to provide the service to you.
• You are responsible for the reviews you publish, import or edit, and for moderating them. Do not create fake reviews, misrepresent reviewers, or selectively hide reviews in a way that misleads shoppers. Follow consumer-protection laws on reviews and endorsements where you sell.
• If you turn on review request emails, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to email your customers and for the content of those emails.
• You must have the right to use any Instagram or TikTok account you connect and the content you show from it, and you must follow Instagram’s and TikTok’s terms.
• You must publish a privacy policy on your store that covers the customer data collected through Trustora.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Trustora to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, send spam, publish harmful or illegal content, or interfere with, probe or reverse-engineer the service. We may remove content or suspend access if you do.

6. Third-party services

Trustora depends on Shopify, Instagram, TikTok and other providers. Their services are governed by their own terms. If one of them changes or restricts its API, some features may stop working or change, and we are not responsible for that.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data. For your customers’ data, we act as your processor and follow your instructions given through the app.

8. Our intellectual property

We own Trustora, including its software, design and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app with your store while these terms apply.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Trustora available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the app, we will give reasonable notice where possible.

10. Disclaimer

Except as required by law, Trustora is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee any particular increase in sales or conversions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Trustora is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your reviews, emails you send through the app, or your breach of these terms or of the law.

13. Termination

You can stop using Trustora at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. After uninstalling, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Trustora after a change means you accept it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law where you are based requires otherwise.
